Steve Rice Pianist/ Accordionist Steve Rice graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston where he was winner of the "Oscar Peterson Award".

 Steve has lived and performed in the Northwest for almost 20 years. In addition to leading his own groups and touring as pianist for the Harry James Orchestra and the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra.

Steve has toured with a wide variety of improvisational and folkloric groups including Rouge (French) the Mazeltones (Klezmer), Bochinche (Salsa), and vocalist Chandana Dixit (Bollywood recording star).

Steve currently teaches Jazz piano at North Seattle Community College.

 

Clipper Anderson

Clipper Anderson is one of the Northwest's leading Bassists. Playing all styles on acoustic and electric bass, Clipper is a composer, studio musician, vocalist and educator. He was described in Seattle's premier jazz magazine Earshot as being "...a player for the connoisseur to savor."

 The list of recordings on which Clipper appears is both long and impressive, including several with award winning Seattle jazz vocalist, Greta Matassa.He has recently performed with jazz artists, Micheal Brecker, Randy Brecker,Terry Gibbs, Peter Erskine, Bob Berg, James Moody, Jack Jones, Paquito D'Rivera, and Buddy DeFranco.

 Clipper appears in jazz festivals throughout the Northwest and Canada and has been a featured guest artist, annually, at the Buddy DeFranco/UofM Jazz Festival and the Port Townsend Jazz Festival. He currently teaches jazz bass studies at Pacific Lutheran University.

 
 

Jack Klitzman

Jack Klitzman:  Master of saxophones, flutes and clarinet  is a veteran in the
national music community playing swing, jazz, R&B, pop, and big band repertoire.

Jack has appeared in concert with and contracted the entire orchestras for Natalie Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Bob Hope, Johnny Mathis, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, the Four Tops, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, Mitzi Gaynor, Perry Como, Lou Rawls, George Benson, Third World, Ray Charles, Della Reese, Julio Iglesias, Tony Teneille, Ben Vereen, Roberta Flack, Rodney Dangerfield, Howie Mandel, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and many others.   Many musical theater and Broadway shows have been graced by his talent, including A Chorus Line, Peter Pan, Evita, Mame, 42nd Street and others.

His long list of recording credits includes projects by major artists, film scores, radio and TV shows, commercials and industrial projects for Boeing, Microsoft, MacDonalds, Hewlett Packard, Coca Cola, Papa Johns and many others.  Jack is an accomplished composer, arranger and orchestrator with a multitude of fine works to his credit.  He has also composed and recorded scores for several independent films.

He enjoys most of all playing with small groups, doing great songs in an
intimate setting where the subtleties are not lost.
